Early Life and Education
Uğur Tanılkan was born on June 1, 1986 in Ankara, Turkey. He is originally from Ankara. After finishing primary school there, he moved with his family to Gazipaşa in Antalya, which is his mother’s hometown. He completed high school at Gazipaşa High School with a focus on English and German languages. During his teenage years, he developed a strong passion for music and taught himself to play several instruments, especially guitar and piano. At the same time, he started working in photography and video production, collaborating with local studios and gaining early technical experience with cameras and video equipment.
Tanılkan began performing in local venues during his high school years. Alongside his interest in dance, he formed his own dance and music team and performed at school events and various organizations. During university, he took his stage work to a professional level, produced music, and created his own compositions. After studying public relations and advertising, he focused more on dance and performed at different events with his team. Through continuous dance training, he performed both in Turkey and abroad while also giving group and private dance lessons. During this period, he worked with well known dancers, appeared in dance videos, and took part in music and advertising clips. In 2011, he began working in event management, organizing shows and planning dance and music performances.
Production and Event Work
Until 2022, Uğur Tanılkan continued working in music, dance, event management, and video production. He performed at various entertainment venues in Turkey including Illusion Event Hall and Club Summer Garden. He shared the stage with artists such as Willy William, Luciano, Ayo Teo, Afro Bros, Morgenstern, Jony, Zivert, Sefo, Reynmen, Emrah Karaduman, İlkay Sencan, Ben Fero, Uzi, Lvbel C5, Burry Suprano, DJ Funky C, and Yasin Keleş. He also produced digital content for the Cleopatra Ink tattoo studio, reaching wide audiences online. In 2021, he founded Starland and organized educational events and creative projects with instructors. Later, together with film director Fehmi Hasanzade, he worked on VR and 3D technology projects at Cosmos, focusing on real estate and architectural fields.
Dubai Period and Media Projects
In the following years, Tanılkan shifted his focus to the Dubai market and founded Dubai Society, a lifestyle focused street interview channel. The project quickly gained high view numbers and recognition in Dubai. At the beginning of 2023, he became deeply involved with ChatGPT and artificial intelligence technologies and launched the content channel Daroodis. Videos from this project reached millions of views across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
Digital Strategy Work
